As the Senior Associate, Demand Planning (Stats Hub), you will develop baseline forecast through statistical modeling and analytics for the full portfolio they support using shipment history, historical events, and market trends. You are required to provide value adding analytics in critical decisions related to forecasting and planning
The internal job title for this position will be Senior Associate, Demand Planning
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create baseline forecast possible using established processes and assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast, and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics
Provide recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies at the regional level.
Accountable for the forecast accuracy metrics
Interact with Regional Demand Planning Managers and Market Demand Planners to understand and interpret the potential impact that market trends and demand drivers can have on demand, and adjust the statistical forecast to reflect those impacts
Key participant in yearly budget building process
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Degree of Supply Chain, Engineering or any related course
Minimum of 3 years of demand planning experience in consumer goods industry
Hands-on experience in demand planning and simulation systems or tools specifically statistical forecasting
