As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the financial records and reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations, and providing financial insights to the management team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Handling client maters from start to finish with the support of other Senior Accountants in the Australian office.
Completing individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns.
Completing Activity Statements (BAS's & IAS's).
Experienced handling Div7A.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
More than 3 years of experience in an Australian accounting role across all forms of public practice accounting.
Must have experience and strong knowledge of completing Individual, Company, Trust and Partnership Tax returns.
Strong understanding of ATO guidelines and practices.
Excellent understanding of processing BAS's, IAS's and company financials.
Experienced handling Div7A.
Proficiency with XERO software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL time.
Must have a secure and reliable internet connection for a work-from-home setup.
