WHAT IS A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Our awesome client, a leading business accounting company based in Australia is looking for a Senior Accountant to be part of their team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS Due to growth we are now seeking a new member to join our team on a full time basis. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships & individuals Prepare, oversee and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax and statutory reporting requirements SMSF accounting Assisting with tax planning, entity setups etc Assist to manage client relationships Liaise effectively with external and internal stakeholders Ensure workflow efficiency, accuracy and deadlines are met QUALIFICATIONS You will need to have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. Be working towards or completed your CA of CPA Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks with a preference for Xero. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team Be a team player who is capable of working with teams at all levels
