Job Description
Oversees testing activities ensuring that our Client's developed products and projects meets agreed requirements and specifications, providing technical guidance and oversight and acting as a point of escalation and testing expert. Responsible for ensuring traceability between requirements, specification, and the deliverables ensuring test execution is verifiable and adequate records are kept of the test process and the quality of the test effort. At the same time, he/she will be providing support to the IT operations team where their knowledge will provide expertises in managing and analyzing escalated incidents on a rotational basis. This will allow the candidate to gain insights from both operational and project delivery perspectives to provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement to the quality of our delivered products.
Qualifications
Analyzing users' stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
Test plan development and execution for functional and process driven requirements
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Load and Regression)
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
Provides support to IT operations for incident analyze and escalation on a rotational basis
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
Work experience
At least 3 years' experience in Test Planning and defect management
Relevant Skills
Experience in executing manual testing with attention to details
Experience in using test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Protractor and Robot framework in CI/CD environment
Experience in: Mobile Automation, API testing, Cross browser testing, Simulator/Emulators
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
