Duties & Responsibilities:
The job description of a Tax Specialist involves managing and overseeing various aspects of tax-related activities of Sales Team.
Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and policies.
Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding tax, etc.).
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Tax Planning:
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the tax liability of individuals or businesses.
Provide advice on tax-efficient business structures and transactions.
Recordkeeping and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
Prepare and maintain financial statements for tax purposes.
Tax Audits and Disputes:
Assist in tax audits and examinations, responding to queries from tax authorities.
Resolve tax-related disputes and issues effectively.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations.
Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
Specific Qualifications:
With at least 2 years' experience on tax-related roles
Proficient in office software such as MS Office (especially Excel)
Communication skills
Customer Service
Organizational Skills
Problem Solving Skills
SAP knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Familiarity with Philippine tax laws and regulations.
