ABB's Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.
You will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy in Electrification business area at Parañaque City; Philippines. Reporting to Sr. Sales Manager and building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities
Selling products and systems to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability target for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
Growing ABB's Building Management System and IOT Solutions Market Share Philippines and ensure the system integrator's satisfaction, owning and executing the local system integrators strategy and programs for BMS and IOT; establishing optimal market coverage and strategy to saturate our Channels with all our offers.
You will establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Preparing sales plans using company tools, perform regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques and communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
Conducting basic technical solution assessment and proposes basic solution and implementation strategies according to customer requirements and being responsible for initial technical product presentation to customer and identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.

Your background
A Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years sales experience in Building Automation and Energy Management Systems and auxiliary systems.
Conversant to technical topics pertaining to relevant local and international standards in Building Management Systems and auxiliary systems.
Background in Buildings servicing, maintenance and management and enough market networking relative to the automation.
Willing to travel within Philippines and abroad, with driver's license.
Good communication skills and assertive business acumen.
Able to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level, business minded and focused on results.
Time management, co-ordination, accuracy, attention to detail and performing in a pressure environment are necessary.
