The Sales Process Specialist (SPS) leads strategic changes to the sales tools and processes used by the Global Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success organizations every day. The role is responsible for delivering strategic projects sponsored by the Chief Revenue Officer and Sales Leadership Team through formulation of requirements, partnership with Technology on delivery, and managing change to maximize benefit to the business.

As LSEG moves to build strategic quote-to-cash processes that act as a competitive differentiator in the market, the Sales Process Specialist owns the requirements that are delivered - ensuring simple and scalable processes, best-in-class user experience, and maximum impact on sustainable revenue growth and customer experience.
The SPS will maintain trusted advisor relationships with sales leaders and frontline salespeople, in addition to establishing effective partnerships with senior Technology stakeholders and adjacent teams. They will leverage these relationships to create and maintain feedback loops that will inform our design delivery requirements and establish proper change management channels within the Sales Organization and beyond.
The SPS will have a wide and detailed knowledge of sales, sales processes, and commercial ordering processes, and be able to assess the gap between current state and best in class. They will assess strategic trade-offs between customised, automated, and native solutions to business challenges and partner with Technology on delivery.
Success in this role means leading LSEG through the transformation of legacy processes towards strategic solutions that delight customers and establish competitive advantage.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead Sales Tools and Process design initiatives and solution design; design and lead user acceptance testing and provide sign off on behalf of the Sales and Account Management organisation
Engage with Sales and Account Management leaders and frontline to intake feedback on Tools & Process challenges
Coach Sales and Account Management users in ASIA on Salesforce knowledge and enable them to be effective in their role with Order to Cash processes.
Tools and Process change deployment, presentation, and coordinate implementation.
Act as the escalation contact for any Sales tools and process issues faced by the Sales and Account Management team.
Engage with wider organizations including Technology, Customer Operations, Finance, Commercial Policy as appropriate for process enhancement & query resolution.
Prioritize enhancements portfolio alongside Program Sponsors
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Expert understanding of sales processes and operating rhythm (Sales and Customer Administration, and/ or User Training experience preferred)
Strong Salesforce experience (Lightning Preferred)
Strong understanding of project/ delivery management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall and associated terms
Service minded - Attention to detail and ability to work in a time critical environment
Builds trusted relationships with executive stakeholders
Language: Chinese and/ or English and possibly any other ASIA local language
Communicative: Strong delivery of messages to different levels of SAM staff.
Results-oriented: Able to work on simultaneous projects under time pressure
Thinking globally and collaborating with teams across global boundaries
Self-motivated and ability to manage own workload with minimum supervision
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Quick learner: Adapt easily to new processes in a changing environment
