The Prod Ctrl Sr. Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of professionals and ensures the quality and timeliness of daily tasks
Utilize subject matter and industry expertise to accomplish tasks within assigned area
Contribute to standards that others will adhere to
Resolve complex and varied issues, escalating anomalies and issues, as needed and proposing appropriate course of action
Conduct individual performance evaluation and career planning/development for team members
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Ability to manage teams.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred

What do you do as a Product Control Senior Manager?
Define and drive implementation of robust PAA reporting controls and governance framework
Work closely and establish excellent business relationships with all areas of the Finance department, liaising with the MQA, Risk Management, GFST and MSST IT teams
Efficiently solve complex, ambiguous problems/situations and identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects
Provide reporting or analyse data across key deliverables, including the identification and remediation of issues and CAPS
Use effective escalation to ensure issues are highlighted in a timely manner. Focus on recurring issues and drive through enhancement projects and systems fixes
SME for PAA related policy and procedures
Drive standardization efforts and also work on ad-hoc projects to implement process improvement ideas
Provide communication and training for key policy and process changes
What do we expect from our Product Control Senior Manager?
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Finance (similar GPO role is an advantage)
University/College degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage but not a must and we are open to other majors
A disciplined and dedicated people manager who proactively seeks to improve the existing controls and streamline processes. This can be from a tactical short-term viewpoint, and from a strategic long-term perspective; following through and delivering on these initiatives.
