The Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities:
Define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals through partnership with decision makers, systems owners and end users
Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
Analyze business processes, gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces and process changes required to address capability gaps
Generate and compile reports based on findings, including probable causes and potential solutions to systems issues
Provide advice and counsel related to technology or operations of the business, ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
Filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and perform other duties and functions as assigned
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
Proven interpersonal, diplomatic and influencing skills
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
This is a regional role who will be the focal point for the CTI Asia workforce requisitions review and approvals, labor productivity/saves reporting and governance and headcount tracking, forecasting and planning. The role requires collaboration with various contacts within and outside the employee's organization and region to perform the role effectively (e.g. HR, staffing office, Procurement, Finance, Regional and Global Business office, Senior management team and the various teams/managers within the CTI organization). The role requires a high level of maturity to handle sensitive and confidential information relating to the workforce in the organization

Specific responsibilities are to :
Manage the end to end process staff requisitions including but not limited to review of documentation, funding validation, approvals and tracking.
Keep the Direct Staff database updated timely and accurately, ensuring all headcount movements are validated and accounted for and all future / forecasted movements are recorded.
Handle the monthly headcount forecasting and annual planning exercise for Asia - facilitating discussion with regional leads and global contacts to align and resolve differences prior the submission date.
Fully explain variances of headcount vs different benchmarks such as plan, forecast/outlook, prior outlook/year/month and identify potential risk and opportunities based on the data available
Act as an SME and keep CTI Asia managers updated with the changes in workforce tools and processes that will impact them
Collect, govern, validate, report and track progress of labor productivity /saves reporting from country, regional and global contacts.
Deliver labor related BAU and adhoc reporting requirement.
Prepare materials to be used for senior management presentations and/or do the presentation as required
Periodic update of workforce process documents and contacts list required by the function
