Job Purpose
The Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the Senior Risk Manager with the Risk reporting relationship with the Board. This entails analysing where VFI is relative to its Risk Appetite and other relevant Risk metrics and measures, under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Risk Manager. In addition, the Risk Analyst will assist the Senior Risk Manager in supporting the adoption of Watchdog by the MFIs and in developing the risk culture within the VFI network. The Risk Analyst is also responsible for ad hoc projects and analysis as required for the wider Risk Team, under the management and control of the Senior Risk Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for analysis required by the Senior Risk Manager in relation to the Reporting pack for the Audit & Risk Committee of the VFI Board.
Responsible for supporting the Senior Risk Manager to ensure that VFI Risk Policies are cascaded and communicated as appropriate to the relevant MFIs, and for supporting the Senior Risk Manager in the training of Risk Managers in the MFIs.
Responsible to support the Senior Risk Manager in the implementation of Blocked Party Screening, and the visibility/reporting of it in VFI, to comply with the WVI Blocked Party Screening Policy.

Key Requirements and Qualifications
Qualified to degree level. Preferably an analytical degree, related to accounting, maths or statistics, or economics
Experience in using Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint
Experience in data analysis and reporting for at least 3 years
Must be fluent in English both in writing and verbally
Knowledge of Spanish and French preferred
Travel or Work Environment
Mostly working from home or in a local country office. Possible occasional trips to London and overseas travel, as required
