Job Description
Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and support staff.
Foster a positive work environment, providing leadership, motivation, and guidance to the team
Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming experience
Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly, aiming for customer satisfaction and loyalty
Implement and enforce service standards to meet or exceed customer expectations
Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, to maintain a smooth workflow.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overages.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with chefs to design and update menus based on customer preferences and market trends.
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation, addressing any issues promptly.
Monitor food costs and implement strategies to maintain profitability without compromising quality
quality and reliability of suppliers, making adjustments as necessary.
Oversee the use of POS systems to streamline operations and improve customer service.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management or similar fields.
Proven experience in restaurant management or a related field
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred)
Experience as a Cook would work to your advantage
