As part of the development team create and DEVELOP reports that meet agreed specification/design
Supports a high performing culture that achieves results by:
Developing Reports & queries according to functional and technical design specifications and maintain a "common sense" approach that serves to recognise potential design gaps and provide insight into closing them whilst adhering to Fantastic Furniture IT coding standards and conventions
Developing and configuring Power BI/ZAP reports
Creating and designing databases, views, stored procedures, T-SQL statements and user-defined functions of varying complexity with a "best practices" approach to keys, indexes and relationships in Microsoft SQL Design documentation must be updated to include any design changes made throughout the development process
Supporting and resolving production issues
Learning new technologies and performing Proof of concepts
As part of the IT team DEVELOP & DEPLOY reports & SQL queries using Power BI or ZAP with SQL
Supports a high performing culture that achieves results by:
Developing Reports using Power BI, ZAP, SQL to meet business requirements
Develop and configure Reports/Paginated Reports/Dashboard/Visuals using Power BI
Good understanding SQL server components such as Database/Stored Procedures/Indexing/Jobs etc
Good understanding of security and governance
Requirements:
Essential
Degree in Information Technology, expert in SQL, Reporting platform, Data warehousing and Power BI
Very strong and solid working experience on database development experience using Microsoft SQL
Minimum 6 - 8 years hands-on development experience on SQL (Stored procedure, SSAS, Dimensional Modelling, Views, trigger, index, SQL Jobs etc)
Minimum 6 - 8 years development experience & strong hands-on writing complex queries, creating reports, dashboards, visuals using reporting tools such as Power BI or ZAP with SQL
Working experience and good understanding on Cloud environment using Azure services
Solid understanding of the SDLC & Agile Scrum
Desirable
Experience in Power Apps & Power Automate
Experience with Azure services & Azure Dev-Ops
Experience in ZAP reporting tool
Power BI certifications
