Job Title: Accounting Close - Entity Close UK
Location: Manila
Corporate Title Senior Analyst
The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. You role involves conducting integrity checks for ledger and risk controlling processes to ensure transparency in financial, management, and regulatory reporting. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this role. Your role will help hone your stakeholder management skills as you will have the opportunity to closely interact with Front and Middle Office, Country Finance teams, Operations and other support functions.

Your key responsibilities
Reconcile and close the month-end General Ledger for Head office, Local Regulatory and Risk Reporting within Service Level Agreement.
Improve processes and linking this to the upstream/downstream processes and outputs
Collaborate with offshore and onshore business partners to ensure financial reporting requirements are delivered
Regular assessment of control checks and strategies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all controls within financial reporting.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Experience in accounting, finance, bank products (Debt, Equities, Derivatives) or audit gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
