About IDS
IDS's Expeditionary Support Services business unit performs mission critical operations and maintenance functions, throughout the globe, often within austere and remote environments. IDS has over fifteen years of experience delivering quality services to government customers.
IDS is recruiting a Quality Manager (QM) to deliver quality, cost-effective, operational support services for the U.S. military throughout the country of the Philippines. The QM provides direct oversight of the contract's Quality Management Plan and quality program. The Quality Manager will ensure all program and business management operations are delivered in an efficient and compliant manner. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
The QM shall have full responsibility for the company's quality management program and assure subcontractors implement a quality management program meeting the contract requirements.
The Quality Manager shall independently administer the Contractor's QM program and report directly to the Contractor's corporate management.
The Quality Manager shall have full authority to coordinate the rework of non-conforming work and have full responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards are met.
Shall be on-site during the Government's regular working hours and shall be available on-site within one hour of notification after the Government's regular working hours.
Ensure contract compliance while adhering to company and government processes, regulations, and statutes while promoting quality control, innovation, and a safe work environment.
Lead a technically diverse team of employees and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a current Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience preparing and enforcing Quality Management Systems (QMS) programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
Experience leading worksite quality verification checks, observations, and corrective action measures.
Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license, as well as a safe driving record.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior management experience is highly desired.
Experience working with and understanding of US Government contracts and contract administration.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
