Job Title: Quality Management (QM) Auditor
 
Job Description
 
The QM Auditor is responsible for conducting systematic audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity, safeguarding consumer health, and supporting continuous improvement within the manufacturing or food service environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
A. PSCC Auditing
Conduct comprehensive and scheduled PSCC audits across PUC stores to evaluate compliance with established food safety and quality standards.
Inspect store operations, including product storage conditions (temperature control, FIFO), handling procedures, cross-contamination prevention, sanitation of equipment and facilities, pest control, and employee hygiene practices.
Verify adherence to company quality standards by reviewing product labeling, shelf life, packaging integrity, and traceability documentation. Identify deviations or quality concerns that may affect consumer safety or brand reputation.
Detect and document non-compliances or risks related to food safety and quality, including unsafe practices, procedural lapses, or environmental hazards.
Conduct follow-up visits to confirm corrective actions have been effectively implemented and sustained, ensuring ongoing compliance and improvement.
Generate clear, accurate, and comprehensive audit reports summarizing results, observations, and recommendations. Use data-driven insights to identify trends and suggest improvements at the store level.
B. Quality and Food Safety Management Program
Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality and Food Safety Management Program in collaboration with the QM Manager, QM Regional Supervisor, and other departments.
Contribute to the development, review, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure program effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating audit checklists, scoring systems, and protocols to align with current regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
C. Technical Support
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices related to food safety, quality assurance, and compliance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for store audit activities, customer complaints, and provide operational support as needed.
Collaborate closely with store management and relevant departments to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) addressing audit findings, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Support food safety and quality training initiatives by educating store staff on audit outcomes, best practices, and regulatory changes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
