The Quality Engineer is involved in developing and implementing efficient and effective test plans for new systems problems and/or enhancements. Includes understanding of QA methodology, processes and associated automated testing tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
Test plan, test case, and test script creation and execution
Requirements analysis and estimation
Environment validation
Investigate issues and provide analysis
Defect and trend tracking, reporting, and analysis
Use of QA methodology, processes, manual and automated testing tools
Quality plan analysis
Testing efforts may include unit, system, manual, black box, white box, automated, load, end-to-end and other testing
Analyze, investigate, and provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher level of education
At least 3 or more years of previous experience with software quality assurance and/or software testing
Experience in IVR testing
Previous experience creating and/or executing test plans, test cases, or test scripts
Knowledge of CYARA automation
Knowledge of or experience with the System Development Life Cycle and software testing practices
Preferred Qualification:
Experienced in test automation in Selenium, Java, Python
