JOB POSITION - QUALITY CONTROL BATCHING PLANT SUPERVISOR
Job Description:
Ø Approve mixed designs in compliance with client requirements in terms of strength, durability, permeability, workability.
Ø Responsible for the evaluation of mix designs for all concrete mixes through coordination with internal staff, agencies, and testing facilities
Ø Supervise monthly internal calibration and uniformity tests for each batching plant unit
Ø Ensure testing guidelines are known, understood, implemented, and performed according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
Ø Troubleshoot all matters arising from the sites
Ø Ensures all test data is documented
Ø Reviews test reports and document results
Ø Reports non-conforming materials and recommends changes in material production based on inspection results.
Ø Supervises and implements the Monthly Pouring Activities, Manpower Schedule, Laboratory Testing (Raw Materials, Concrete Samples, and Internal Trial Mix), and Third-Party Testing of Concrete Samples in order to comply with the customer requirements.
Ø Supervise the QAQC Team in monitoring and controlling the manual dosing of raw materials during automatic operations in order to ensure the accuracy of batching.
Ø Investigates product modifications
Ø Supervise in the implementation of Quality Control Plans such as acceptance of raw materials, batching process, and checking the accuracy of batching to ensure that the products meet specific customer standards.
Ø Tracks product quality by statistical analysis of test data
Ø Response to customer complaints
Ø Correlates test results in relation to customer complaints to determine the cause and prevent future complaints.
Skills/Qualifications:

Ø Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
Ø 3-5 years QA/QC experience in a concrete mix laboratory (batching plant operations)
Ø Ability to conduct quality assurance and quality control testing analysis.
Ø With knowledge in Batching Plant Operations in a Ready Mixed Concrete.
Ø Willing to be assigned in Taytay and Taguig Plants
