That's where you come in as our next Project Manager.
What does success look like?
The Project Manager oversees all company new product projects from conception through product launch. You work with internal stakeholders to define the project tasks and create a process to bring it to fruition. This includes setting and managing team member expectations, developing a detailed project plan, defining the scope of the project, and assigning team members to specific tasks. From creating an accurate timeline of project completion to ensuring tasks are finished by their due date, the project manager must remain aware of how the project is progressing.
The project manager also anticipates delays that may occur and apprises the team of any changes in the schedule. The project manager is the first person who team members turn to when something goes wrong, so it is important you anticipate any potential hiccups before they happen. Adaptability and problem solving are key to keeping control of a project. The project manager ensures that the team is focused on delivering the project tasks assigned as efficiently as possible.
ONE THING: Manage all projects within the business to ensure timelines are met and projects are done on time without mistakes.
Primary Objectives 20% BIG ROCKS - These must be done first and at all costs.
Establish & Maintain a ClickUp project management system.
Oversee projects being worked on; establishes goals and monitor progress to ensure goals are met, ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and review completed work for accuracy.
Solves problems that arise within projects without needing to involve the CEO.
Regular Work Activities 80% - These must be done ongoing daily/weekly after the BIG ROCKS are complete * Write scopes of work for each project.
Analyze and manage project risk.
Control time management ( 1. Define activity, 2. Sequence activity, 3. Estimate the duration of activity, 4. Develop a schedule, & 5. maintain a schedule)
Manages and maintains central databases (box & airtable)
Creates project tasks on Clickup (1. Breaking the project into tasks, 2. Breaking down the tasks and subtasks, 3. Setting an appropriate schedule for the development of certain deliverables, 4. Defining milestones, and 5. Highlighting the project dependencies.
Creates a monthly plan for each project for each monthly all-hands meeting
Creates dashboards for each team member and their respective key tasks for the month
Debrief each project to identify areas for improvement
Helps drive effective collaboration, communication, and commitment across multiple departments with competing priorities
Maintain & provide weekly and daily reports that reflect the status of each project.
Coordinate with the Process Manager to develop processes; update existing processes, and enable team members to implement improvements.
Document project manager role for succession planning.
Requirements
