Position Summary: Responsible for internal audit and risk assessment of company's financial and operational practices. Prepares audit plans and conducts internal audits/reviews. Establishes audit criteria to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other legislatively mandated compliance initiatives. Prepares audit plans and understands the specific issues to be evaluated. Reports audit results to management and makes recommendations for implementing controls where appropriate. May facilitate work of external auditors during on-site visits.
