A Product Information Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate product information for an organization. This includes gathering and analyzing product data, creating and updating product descriptions and specifications, and ensuring that all product information is consistent and up to date across all platforms.
Responsibilities
Manage all new product creation requests from Salesforce (CRM) into NetSuite (ERP)
Provide stellar customer service through prompt responses and updates on all requests via multiple communication channels (Outlook, Slack, etc.).
Analyze product data and create detailed product descriptions and specifications.
Ensure that all product information is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date across all platforms, including the company website and e-commerce platforms.
Coordinate with internal parties to properly forecast product SKU needs for all assigned accounts.
Accurately record all freight invoice transactions via Excel and NetSuite (ERP) as needed.
Provide back-up data entry for other supply chain departments (Order Management, Returns, Inventory Control, etc.) as needed
