We are looking for a highly driven Product Development Specialist to lead and support innovation initiatives in the FMCG industry (non-food products). The role involves managing product portfolios, developing new products and processes, and ensuring continuous improvement while working closely with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities:
Manage the product portfolio for end-users and industrial customers, in collaboration with Marketing, Procurement, QA, and Production teams
Lead the development of new products, processes, and technologies, and enhance existing ones to meet market needs
Plan, coordinate, and execute R&D projects, identifying key areas for innovation and improvement
Ensure projects are completed within budget and timeline
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to top management for strategic decision-making
Ensure all R&D activities comply with regulatory, safety, and ethical standards
Keep updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive competitiveness and innovation
Requirements
Preferably a graduate of Biology, Food Technology, or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in product development and innovation within the FMCG industry (non-food products)
Flexible, adaptable, and with a growth mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Can start immediately
Willing to work onsite in Sta. Cruz, Manila
