Fertilizers - both Urea and premium - are available to its distributors who in turn sell to the farmers, its end-users.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Commercial Team and Business Partners to identify strategies for new markets and/or opportunities for market development
Provide technical inputs and market information necessary for the development of appropriate product promotion and/or communication tools such as, but not limited to flip charts, brochures, posters, banners, and product packaging.
Present to the Sales Team and Business Partners the technical aspects of the product/s for positioning in the market.
Conduct periodic monitoring and analysis of competitor products and establish a database of relevant information on:
fertilizer products in the market,
farm gate prices of major crops, and
market situation
Assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of field and bio-efficacy trials.
Participate /represent Yara in agriculture-related fora, Yara-led farmers' meetings, and other related activities.
Implement Yara's Safe by Choice Journey towards the attainment of zero accident
Adhere to Yara's Ethics and Compliance Code of Conduct to reduce business and reputational losses.
Profile
A member of the core organization, we seek a talented technical person with the following minimum qualifications:
A graduate of Agriculture or allied courses;
Preferably with a proven track record in sales and marketing gained in the agriculture industry;
Research and development experience an edge
Familiar with the Visayas and/or Mindanao territories
A skilled driver with a valid driver's license
Fluent in the local dialects
