About the Role
As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for the successful identification, management, and execution of tactical improvement initiatives. The Process Improvement Specialist is expected at a minimum to be familiar with the concepts, principles, and theories behind continuous process improvement and total quality management. The Process Improvement Specialist must be able to prioritise and manage multiple competing projects, deadlines, and relationships, while interacting effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels to affect change within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Analyse various processes in the organisation.
Work closely with the project team to complete all phases of process improvement initiatives.
Monitor process performance and maintain weekly/monthly status reports to key project stakeholders to communicate and track the status of improvement initiatives.
Create and maintain process-related documents including but not limited to process flows, standard operating procedures (SOP's), and job aid.
Generate reports and analyse data needed for process improvements and other initiatives.
Facilitate internal presentations to stakeholders to provide findings and recommended changes for improvement initiatives.
Perform ad hoc tasks if needed.
Position Requirements
Ability to utilise data collection/analysis tools and methodologies.
Ability to conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical controls.
Knows quality and process improvement methodologies.
Problem-solving ability.
Analytical skills.
Project-management skills.
Attention to detail.
The ability to work independently but also as a part of a team.
Ability to work to deadlines and give realistic estimates.
Willingness to learn.
