Primary Responsibilities:
Assist Pricing Manager in setting up and testing fares, ancillary fees, taxes and charges in passenger and cargo reservation systems such as: Loading/ unloading fares; Creation of fares and fare rule; Ensuring integrity of fares, fees, taxes, and other charges; Ensure that fees and taxes are updated and are accurate on the web and other modules of the passenger and cargo reservation systems.
Prepare and file fares and promotions with various government authorities.
Liaise with Marketing and reviews advertising materials prior placement.
Provide reports on competitive pricing in terms of pricing structure including changes in fares, ancillary fees, taxes and charges.
Monitor exchange rates and fares in foreign currency; provides suggestions on local currency pricing changes in accordance with pricing strategy.
Receive, investigate, and revert to users regarding reported pricing issues.
Prepare regular reports as required.
Performs other functions that may be assigned by immediate superior.
Qualifications:·
Prior work experience in Pricing or equivalent, especially in airline specific pricing management, is a huge plus.
Must be proficient in Statistical/ Economic Analysis.
Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency in using MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
A solid working knowledge of Reservation Systems is a plus.
Note: This position will be under a hybrid workplace arrangement which allows remote work but must also be open to reporting onsite as needed. Our Head Office is located in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
