Collections Analyst, Customer to Cash
Your goal as a Collection Analyst is to respond to customer inquiries in order to get their accounts current. Primarily handles contacts with customer via outbound communication (Phone, email, etc..) mediums.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Collections Analyst, you will:
Collect, manage and provide resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts in a defined book of business (assigned portfolios).
Assist account in enrolling in autopay and payment schedules.
Investigating delinquent accounts providing appropriate documentation to customers when needed.
Make recommendations to release orders on past due accounts and investigates bankruptcy claims.
Directly communicate with customers though customer's preferred means to ensure the account stays current.
Maintain/update records and files and generates related reports.
Work closely with clients, some of which are Fortune 500 Companies, and Thomson Reuters internal staff to resolve client disputes and follow through to satisfactory resolution which results in payment of invoices.
Manage the decision process on service interruptions for customers when payments cannot be negotiated within a set strategy and timeline.
Liaise with Finance to ensure thorough financial analyses of the viability of commercial propositions.
Suggest & implement improvements to current practice.
Understand and follow established collections ways-of-working.
Apply company policies and procedures to resolve issues.
About You
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Taguig City.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
