Job Description
The Planning and Cost Enginer shall assist the Planning, Cost, and Contracts Head for planning, scheduling, monitoring of progress and execution of projects by ensuring quality, cost effectiveness, productive and timely completion of projects, contribute information and guidance, coordination and continuous up-dating of an overall program for the site construction work.
The responsibilities will include:
Studies and assesses the target dates for the project and stays completely familiar with the work and the parameters of the work program, prepares, maintains and monitors the S-Curve and Cash Flow Monitoring Chart.
Contributing to the project execution strategy and also to the preparation of the project execution plan. This will include defining or reviewing erection procedures, necessary methods statements, dedicated tools and
equipment. Prepares risk management on the Owner construction methodologies.
Maintaining and Monitors Project Milestones through creation to tools or application and reports to Planning, Cost and Contracts manager for updates and revisions.
Appraise construction, analyzing the logistics, and managing time, and provide immediate solutions to potential problems for efficient execution. Develop constructability scenario at all construction stages through development of models, as well as managing constructability reviews with all disciplines as required, and consider the costs and possibilities of reducing them without compromising quality or safety.
Analyze the Work Breakdown Structure and related project structures, production of Critical Path Method, time chainage and resource information.
Conducts regular meetings with the construction team, dealing with EPC Contractor(s) work progress, schedule reviews, construction coordination, processing of billings requests and construction needs as well as other
construction objectives.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior
Contract/Term is until January 2023
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of Civil, Electrical, or any related Engineering course
Must be a Licensed Engineer
Must be willling to be based in Bugallon, Pangasinan for the entire duration of the project
At least 4-5 years of experience in construction planning or any related experience
Leadership experience is a plus
Experience in the power industry/renewable energy is a plus
Proficent in MS Office, Google Suite, and MS Project
Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
