Job Description
Prepare and hand-stretch pizza dough to create consistent and thin crusts. Create and execute a variety of pizza recipes, using both classic and innovative toppings.
Monitor pizza oven temperatures and baking times to ensure perfect results. Prepare and arrange pizza toppings in an aesthetically pleasing and balanced manner.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of orders during busy periods. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards throughout the pizza preparation process.
Keep the pizza station clean and organized, including maintaining ingredient stock. Train and guide junior kitchen staff in pizza-making techniques and presentation.
Stay updated with food trends and new pizza-making methods to continually enhance skills and offerings. Ensure high-quality customer service by fulfilling orders accurately and promptly
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in a professional kitchen. Knowledge of various pizza styles, dough types, and baking techniques. Creativity in creating new pizza recipes and flavor combinations
Attention to detail in arranging toppings and ensuring consistent pizza quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders. Team player with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment. Manual dexterity for stretching dough and arranging toppings.
