Job Description
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of butchers, ensuring they follow best practices in meat cutting, customer service, and food safety.
Assign tasks, establish work schedules, and manage staffing levels to meet business demands.
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee and participate in the preparation, meat cutting, and presentation of various meat products, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy.
Train staff in proper meat cutting techniques, portion control, and product knowledge.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to maintain an adequate stock of fresh and quality meats.
Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries, and guiding them in meat selection and cooking methods.
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and satisfactory manner.
Ensure that display cases are clean, organized, and properly maintained to showcase the freshness and quality of products.
Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment, including knives, cutting tools, and machinery
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Others or similar fields.
• Have a minimum of 5 years as a Store / Butchery Manager
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and budget management.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in product presentation and merchandising.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
