Description & RequirementsThe Senior Performance Engineer will serve as the primary contact for performance testing across multiple products, working within a shared service model for both Manila-based and global teams. The role involves planning, scripting, executing, and analyzing performance tests, as well as providing actionable recommendations to optimize product performance. The engineer will collaborate closely with development and QA teams, and is expected to handle projects independently within six months.A Day In A Life Typically looks like:
Lead performance testing initiatives for assigned products or projects.
Plan and execute performance test scenarios based on development team requirements.
Develop automated scripts using LoadRunner (or similar tools) and related scripting languages.
Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and global counterparts to ensure comprehensive performance coverage.
Prepare and present performance reports and findings to stakeholders.
What You Will Need?
At least 4 yrs of relevant experience
Strong experience with LoadRunner or similar performance testing tools.
Proficiency in C++ (LoadRunner scripting language) and Python; other scripting languages are a plus.
Solid experience working in Linux environments and writing bash scripts.
Familiarity with cloud technologies (preferably AWS, but other cloud experience is acceptable).
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Sumo Logic) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to work independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
