We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that can positively impact many people across the world! This role will be immensely satisfying and meaningful to the right candidate and we can't wait to find you!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Process all payroll aspects related to staff promotion, transfers, bonus, commission and wage transactions
Assist with employee, internal and external inquiries
Produce payroll based on Time & Attendance system input, normal periodic transactions and adhoc requests
Maintain withholding orders and remit
Produce remittances for government agencies
Assist as needed with Year End process
Adhoc labour cost allocations
Process terminations including reconciliation of PTO/Vacation and issuance of ROE's
ABOUT YOU
You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a payroll position
You have demonstrated proficiency in MS Office
You have a College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
You have strong communication skills (written/oral) as well as presentation to members of management as required
You demonstrate teamwork, open communication and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
You are never satisfied and demonstrate a winning attitude striving for success and productivity
You take initiative to share or apply best practices in order to improve personal performance and customer experience
You are fun and energetic and are engaged at all levels
You are creative and innovative in your approach and always look for better ways to get things done
