The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all North American employees. This position will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to handle payroll-related inquiries and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
Process Bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and/or monthly payroll for North American employees using the ADP payroll system.
Verify and enter employee data, including hours worked, new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates and deductions.
Ensure accurate calculations for regular and overtime hours, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation components.
Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and finance as required.
Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all payroll processes.
Handle payroll inquiries from employees, addressing issues related to pay, taxes, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll-related accounts and address any discrepancies.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees and other stakeholders regarding payroll matters.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably using ADP Workforce Now or ADP Enterprise HR.
In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices in the United States and Canada.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Experience with multi-state payroll is a plus.
Amenable to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).
