Job Description:
 
We are seeking a Payroll Officer to work alongside our Payroll Manager to process our fortnightly and monthly payroll.
 
The Payroll Officer is responsible for 500+ employees. Accurately administering end to end payroll in a timely and confidential manner.
 
The Successful applicant will need to have proven experience in:
Minimum 3 years' experience in processing fortnightly and monthly pays for Australia and New Zealand
Calculating and processing terminations & leave management systems
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills
Good knowledge of AU/NZ employment legislation including experience in award interpretation
Assist with superannuation, workers compensation premiums, payroll tax and authorised payroll deductions
Ability to work closely and build strong relationships with managers
A positive, can-do attitude
Retail experience would be advantageous.
