The Purpose Driven Career Objectives of a Payroll Accountant
Our client is growing the Payroll Team to help achieve our operational and financial goals through continuous operational improvements. You will support day to day operations as a key member of our growing Payroll / Accounting team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare final pay calculation for terminations
Prepare wire transfer request and book journal entries
Manage and update manual check log
Prepare month end payroll reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of stock transactions and reconciliations
Assist in the preparation and processing of US & International payroll
Assist with the management of employee inquiries
Prepare audit support for team & ensure processes are SOX compliant
REQUIREMENTS:
4+ years of payroll (accounting) experience including public company or pre-IPO/high growth company
Netsuite experience - ideal candidate is intermediate / proficient with Netsuite features including CSV imports and saved searches
Workday experience (preferred)
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and take ownership of work
Detail oriented: able to work with large volumes of data with speed and accuracy. Ability to self-check work
Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong knowledge of key accounting concepts, GAAP, SOX controls
Time management to ensure timely completion of given tasks with accuracy
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred
