INTERNET & HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
MUST have 2 monitors.
MUST have backup internet. (prepaid will do)
8 GB of system memory.
i3 processor or higher.
Fiber or highspeed internet of at least 20MBPs. (both upload & download)
Windows 10 with Google Chrome web browser installed.
USB headset.
Malware and virus-free/protected computer.
Skype account.
Valid government-issued ID/driver's license.
Job Requirement:
Must have billing background
Can read and understand the explanation of benefits and how to identify denials (non covered, pharmacy benefit only, etc.. ) and patients financial responsibilities (Co-Payments, Co-Insurances, Deductibles)
Coordinates and takes care of the billing details of the patients.
Handles Insurance incoming calls.
Issues invoices, handles payments, processes credit cards.
Answers to queries of the patients
Updates financial records
Offers financial assistance to patients, hardship, special discount, special price
Processes cash orders payments by phone
Posts patient payments as needed
Must have excellent customer service skills dealing with patient calling both inbound/outbound.
Must have collections experience dealing and explaining invoice details and handling disputes and payment processing over the phone.
Managing inbound and outbound calls to and from patients, providers, and healthcare insurance companies regarding inquiries and data verification (maintains great phone etiquette).
Must have a courteous attitude, good communication skills, patience and computer knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook email.
Communicates effectively to hand-off or pick-up work from colleagues
Performs other duties assigned by Team Lead or Manager
Scope of Support:
Receiving incoming and performing outbound calls
Payment processing payment via SARs, PayPal
Billing explanation with patients and collections of payments.
Handle crossover during first hour and last 30mins of the shift.
