Partner Business Manager (PBM) has strategic responsibility for our partnership with a list of assigned SAP Concur TMC Partners. This position leverages cross functional personnel and resources across SAP Concur and respective TMC partners to achieve pipeline, revenue and strategic partnership objectives. This role owns the primary relationships with TMCs corporate/partnership teams as well as manages the internal Concur cross-functional relationships and TMCs corporate cross-functional relationships to advance strategic marketing, joint R&D, client services, client development, channel sales and sales operations. The PBM works closely with the SAP Concur Business Development, Channel Sales and TMC Services Account Management teams to determine and drive strategies as well as maximize pipeline and revenue from the TMCs relationship.
Meet or exceed Concur Travel Resale portfolio ARR generation goals
Maintain a 75% TMC NPS participation goal
Adhere to all Office of Ethics and Compliance requirements and ensure assigned TMC portfolio is in compliance also which includes facilitating the completion of TMC SAP Due Diligence every two years
Create partnership objective and goal setting with Concur internal and TMCs partnership executive owners
Drive the relationships necessary to reach mutually beneficial objectives and the cross-functional commitments to achieve them
Provide regular updates and reporting to Concur internal and TMCs executive teams as well as short, mid, and long term strategic and tactical plans
Conduct bi-annual business reviews with assigned TMC partners
Own the definition and execution of the partner launch plan for new TMCs business unit partners
Work with Legal for ongoing client amendments and new contracts for TMCs business unit expansions, as required
Work with internal cross functional departments for any escalations
Strategize and coordinate execution of TMCs global partnership and expansions with respective Concur Business Development counterparts and cross-functional teams
Align to market/country specific objectives, execution strategy and ownership
Support global Concur executive and Business Development resources in partnership strategy and execution
Position Requirements: Education, Experience & Training required:
BS Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration graduate, or equivalent experience
Proven Travel Industry experience - GDS/TMC/OBT/Airline job experience
5+ years' experience in partner management and development
Experience in negotiating partner agreements
Demonstrated presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated project management skills
Demonstrates different influence styles as appropriate to situation while maintaining positive relationships
Builds and maintains trusting relationships with associates and customers and demonstrates high level of integrity
Effectively transfers thoughts and expresses ideas using speech and listening skills to influence others and gain support
Adjust to new, different, or changing requirements
Listens with objectivity and checks for understanding
Persists despite obstacles and opposition or setbacks
