Job Description
The Part-Time Tutor's purpose is to facilitate 25-minute high-quality English lessons for young Japanese learners.
 
Expected Outcomes:
?Outcome 1: Conduct 40 or more lessons every week.
?Outcome 2: Get a 90% or higher Tutor Performance Rating every month.
?Outcome 3: Ensure 100% attendance every month.
 
Skills & Qualifications
A. Technical Qualifications:
? Education: Graduate of any 4-year course, or at least two years' worth of college units
? Good command of the English Language
? Preferably with teaching experience, but not required
? Must be able to work on the weekends
?Internet Connectivity: Must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection
Recommended Download/Upload Speed: 15 Mbps
Minimum Download/Upload Speed: 3 Mbps
Ping: Must not be greater than 100 ms
?Dedicated Workspace: The area must be conducive for teaching, ideally a quiet space free from distractions.
?Location:  Residing in Cebu City or nearby cities/municipalities in Cebu

✅ ALT Program Pathway: Eligible part-time tutors can be recommended to apply for an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) position in Japan with a minimum contract of one year. It may be subject to longer-term extension based on performance.

Friday: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday to Sunday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Wednesday  & Thursday: 1:00 PM -5:00 PM 
Saturday to Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Recruitment Process
A. Application Form: Fill out the Part-Time Online English Tutor Application Form.
B. Assessment Test: 15-30 minutes test to be accomplished before proceeding to the next step.
C. Initial Interview: 20 to 30-minute interview to be conducted by the recruitment team through an online video platform.
D. Demo Lesson: Must conduct a 10-minute lesson demonstration online. Lesson materials will be provided.
E. Final Interview: 15-minute interview facilitated by the RKESI management done through an online platform.
F. Pre-employment Training: An 8-day training program with 4-5 hours per day at the RKESI office.
