For our People & Culture Team, we are looking for an independent, knowledgeable, and high-reaching full-time Compensation and Benefits Manager for our office in Strombeek-Bever. ABOUT THE ROLE The role is crucial and is key for overall Compensation & Benefits (C&B) processes of both local and expat people, in line with both local and global JTI policies, procedures, and processes. This Manager is budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all payroll-related elements in line with JTI global deadlines, monthly variance analysis between actuals and budgets, also maintaining compliance with wage tax regulations. The Business Services Manager is in the People & Culture Benelux team and reports to the People & Culture Director Benelux. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuretimely and accurate fulfillment of HR administration, company's payroll, payroll tax, and labor regulations requirements. Handle the relations with external authorities (social security organizations, labor offices, etc.) to properly run payroll-related issues. Maintainand assessproper accounting of payroll costs (in collaboration with Finance). Performvariance analysis of budgeted payroll expenses versus actuals. Preparethe annual Salary and Fringe budget in line with deadlines and guidelines for Annual Strategic Plan submissions.Coordinatethe Annual Salary Review process. Prepare timely salary forecasts for AP/LE for each cost center in line with local, regional & global instructions and report to the Finance functions. Leadcompany benefits schemes and compensation programs in line with local and Global JTI guidelines and instructions. Conduct& participatein annual salary surveys with preferred suppliers including annual pay line review. Analysemarket trends in terms of C&B and make recommendations to P&C Management to create a competitive advantage and attract and retain talent. Actas the contact person for external C&B partners and providers (payroll, pension, insurance etc.). Handleemployee administration throughout the full employee life cycle from on to offboarding. Responsible for introducing and onboarding new employees regarding JTI's compensation & reward processes. Coordinateactivities and processes regarding international employment with internal global mobility & finance teams and external providers (payroll, tax advisors, relocation and housing providers, etc) Ensuretimely and appropriate fulfillment of payroll duties, HR administration, financial reporting, labor law/taxation/social security regulations requirements. Managethe car fleet for the Benelux. Leador participatein specific Benelux rewards-related projects and/or processes e.g. car fleet management, salary surveys, benefit statements, benchmark research, etc. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Social Sciences, Human Resources, Law, Finance, 5 years of confirmed experience in a similar position, which includes payroll & salary administration and accounting & budgeting for all payroll-related processes. Experience with Belgian labor agreements, social security laws, Belgian labor taxation & pension systems, and relocation of employees. Experience in big, global, similar companies as ours is a plus. Proficiency in English, French, and Dutch language is critical. Computer skills: Microsoft Office,SAP, or similar ERP system experience, Advanced Excel skills, Payroll systems. Strong interpersonal communication and partner management. Focus on details. Strong project management skills, and organizational skills.
