Reporting into the Order Management Supervisor; this person will work within a team of order administrators ensuring the timely processing of orders in accordance with company policy, process and SOX compliance regulations. This team is a key point of contact with cross-functional departments such as sales, credit, IT, supply chain and contracts management.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Execute simple order entry of sales transactions for direct and channel partner customers in support of Avid's portfolio of video and audio products, support and services
Coordinate with credit, sales, finance and supply chain to resolve pricing, shipping, invoicing and material management to provide resolution when required
Evaluate incoming orders over 50k (USD) for terms and conditions and document requirements; prepare the document packages for compliance review
Execute invoicing resolution when required and credit/debit activity associated with customer accounts
Ensure compliance with established order administration procedures to ensure orders are processed according to company policy
Qualifications & Skills:
1 year of experience in order management, accounting, finance or sales operations. New graduates are also welcomed to apply.
Preferable experience in SAP's Sales and Distribution module and Salesforce.com, but not required
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite products
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong customer support orientation with the ability to build working relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced work environment and to adapt quickly to changes in policy and process as the business evolves
Worldwide cultural awareness
Mandatory extended hours will be required at times of high volume including but not limited to the weeks preceding each quarter end
