Database Administrator Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Install and Configure database systems for security and high availability.
- Set and maintain database policies and standards.
- Assist application development team refine logical and physical data models.
- Tune and maintain the performance of the database system.
- Diagnose and Troubleshoot database errors.
- Design, Manage & Test database backup and recovery.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experienced with the following database technologies: MS SQLServer, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL
- Strong command of SQL and DBA tools.
- Strong understanding of database modeling.
- Experienced in working with Linux and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with scripting tools such as Unix scripts and Windows PowerShell.
- Familiarity with popular programming languages such as Java, .Net, NodeJs.
- Over 6 years of experience working as a DBA.
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Can work independently
