CYBER ENGLISH CLASS TUTORIAL SERVICES
We are hiring both home-based and office-based online English teachers.
To those who are applying for office-based positions, please be informed that we prioritize those who cannot work from home due to lack of computer equipment and unstable Internet connection. CECTS has opened its door to give opportunity and provide employment during these uncertain times as well as to utilize our office that has complete computer equipment, conducive workstations and stable Internet connection not to mention the kitchenette, bathroom, dining area and sleeping quarters. There are a few more slots available for office-based positions.For home-based applications, kindly check our job qualifications, responsibilities and technical requirements. We prioritize those who are NOT engaged in any other home-based teaching jobs yet to give opportunity to those who do not have any source of income yet.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We need committed Online English Teachers who can tailor their teaching style in accordance with our students' needs. We conduct video classes to Korean students of different age groups and levels. We prepare and deliver the lesson in a fun and engaging way to improve students' conversing skills while giving them prompt corrections in areas of pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar by typing them on the board and track their monthly progress. We conduct level test to assess the strengths and weaknesses in English. We recommend an appropriate book or material based on what the students need to focus on. We also edit our student's composition if there's any. Taken as a whole, we teach and learn, earn and have fun teaching!
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a Filipina; at least 20 to 25 years old
Has pleasing personality, a confident presence on the web camera, patience, positive attitude and a team player
Can work from Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Has a good command of the English language to teach Korean students of different age groups from 5 to 59 years old and levels from beginners to professionals
Must be good at multitasking; can reach at least 45 WPM
Must have a good pronunciation and accent
With similar relevant experience is an edge but not necessary since the company provides training.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (for home-based teachers)
A laptop or desktop computer (Operating System: Windows 7 or above: CPU: Intel Core i3 7th Gen / i5 / i7 Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM with minimum 60 GB free hard disk space available)
A high definition web-camera
A headset with extended microphone and noise-canceling features
Wired DSL Internet connection of at least 25 Mbps
A quiet, clutter-free, and brightly lit room with a plain background
RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Once you are considered for the position, you will receive an email and a text message from us for the schedule of the following:
Interview with the manager via Skype
Speed typing test
Pronunciation Drill
Grammar test
Technical test for home-based applications only
Once you've passed, you will be scheduled for an online training for three days. (2-3 hours per session)
To office-based teachers who successfully passed the training and who live close to Ortigas only, you will be scheduled for a-one time pick-up to bring you to Jollibee Plaza Building safely. Further instructions will be given on Skype for you may be offered any of the following:
Office stay-in and use of sleeping quarters; food allowance (lunch and dinner) may be provided for a couple of weeks; MUST abide to home-office rules
Condo stay in a fully-furnished loft-type unit at East of Galleria (located at the back of the office building; 2 minutes' walk) with a smart TV, air conditioner, dining area, kitchen, electric stove, microwave, laundry machine, balcony, bathroom and bedroom. Conditions apply for There's no free lunch."
Finally, brace yourself as your schedule will be filled with different levels of students.
REMUNERATION - Php 110.00 per hour
6.0 hours - Php 660.00/day = Php 14,520.00
6.5 hours - Php 715.00/day = Php 15,730.00
7.0 hours - Php 770.00/day = Php 16,940.00
7.5 hours - Php 825.00/day = Php 18,150.00
8.0 hours - Php 880.00/day = Php 19,360.00
*** Projected salary in 22 days of work
Only office-based teachers may have additional classes in the morning for an hour, maximum of three hours
1.0 hour = Php 2,640.00
2.0 hours = Php 5,280.00
3.0 hours = Php 7,920.00

ATTENDED classes and LEVEL TESTS are paid
ABSENCES will be paid in half
CANCELLED and POSTPONED classes are unpaid
LATE classes, just extend the class and complete the 25 minutes
COMPLAINTS from the students or Korean managers, (- Php 100.00)
MISSED CLASS will be penalized amounting to (- Php 200.00)
MISSED LEVEL TEST will be penalized amounting to (- Php 220.00)
