1. Establishes and maintains business relationships in the industrial area through effective selection of/and communication with clients.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Builds and develops new industrial/commercial/distributor accounts
1.1. Acquires of industrial accounts and categorizes businesses per industry type: Marine, Land Transportation, Manufacturing, Retail Stations
1.2. Establishes corresponding contact persons for purchases of industrial accounts and sets schedules of visit and product or sales presentations
1.3. Conducts products/sales presentation for prospective clients
1.4. Reviews documents from prospective industrial clients in consultation with the Business Development Manager (Industrial)
1.5. Conducts ocular inspections and internal feasibility studies.
1.6. Prepares the executions of contract if there is involved leasing of equipment to ensure volume commitments
1.7. Prepares pertinent documents required for approvals of applicable credit terms and and coordinates with internal stakeholders for encoding in the company's customer database
2. Maintains the department's volume target
2.1. Offers price proposal to clients based on approved prices
2.2. Solicits and places customer orders
2.3. Coordinates to the transfer of payment for cash basis customers prior to deliveries
2.4. Ensures the promptness and accuracy of product deliveries
2.5. Addresses customer concerns on delivery procedures through coordination with the Operations group
2.6. Updates customers should there be necessary price adjustments
2.7. Updates customers' credit lines should they no longer be applicable
2.8. Monitors competitors' market activities and provides recommendations 2.9. Initiates regular visits to active customers and follows up on industrial orders/ repeat orders
. Communicates with non-active customers for future industrial products purchases
. Ensures that payments for delivered products are completely collected from customers and are remitted
. Coordinates collection schedules for outstanding customer accounts with approved credit lines
3. Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Preferred Qualifications for this Role:
College graduate
Open to other courses but preferably Business degree or Engineering/Technical degree
A graduate from a top universities can be an advantage
With 3 years' sales experience preferably in Petroleum, Industrial, Chemicals, Shipping, Power and Energy, Transport, Manufacturing, Agricultural
Has to have a network of industrial accounts, clients in the industrial industries (shipping, power and energy, transport, manufacturing, agricultural).
B2B selling experience
Having an experience selling lubricants is a plus
Highly adaptive to a dynamic sales and marketing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Very good English written and verbal communication skills
Good presentation skills
Sales Pipeline management (database of leads) experience is an advantage
