Organization Overview:
The Information Services Group (ISG) is responsible for providing authoritative sources of reference data to our clients across the Institutional Client Services (ICG) organization, through implementing state of the art technologies and operational processes which promote the collection, storage, analysis, and distribution of product, pricing, account and corporate action data. The ISG organization works in partnership with data clients across all ICG business lines, deploying solutions to increase their competitiveness, through restructuring business processes, simplifying information access, and providing business intelligence around critical data
Department Overview:
The Warsaw Securities & Pricing team is responsible for ensuring that Security and Pricing data is available, accurate, and complete for the EMEA, NAM & LATAM Custody business. The team works with our Custody partners to setup and maintain required instruments in our master databases to facilitate trading activities. In addition the team processes corporate actions e.g. listings, delistings, name changes and identifier changes.
The team is a part of larger ISG organisation and is in the process of retiring the current custody system GSM and migrating to the global golden source SMC. The team works in partnership with our state of the art technology team to achieve this while also striving to automate as much loading and validating of data as possible. The Warsaw team will begin to work much more closely with other Global S&P teams in New York, London, Manila, Hong Kong, and Tokyo to ensure that a consistent model is followed with respect to this critical reference data.
Ops Support Analyst - Warsaw Product & Pricing Team (C05)
Job Responsibilities:
The Security Coding team is part of the Institutional Services Group that is responsible for ensuring the quality of data held within our master database applications for financial instruments are kept up to date. Key responsibilities include:
New security set ups, modifications and trade repair
Support market events (corporate actions) in accordance with Citi / vendor / local exchange standards
Work hands-on with tight deadlines
Reconcile various data quality reports daily and prepare ad-hoc reports for requestors
Gain thorough industry knowledge quickly and effectively & interact with other operating units in order to solve issues
Provide effective maker/checker function to ensure data quality and accuracy
Expected to work shifts to support EMEA and NAM/LATAM operations.
Partner with global coders in other regions to resolve issues
Understand global procedures to support other markets during off hours
Procedure & manuals review and update
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
English knowledge
Strong organization skills with an excellent attention to detail
Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure
Strong teamwork skills
Good communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
Economical or financial education preferable
Previous settlements experience within an investment bank
Familiarity with a wide array of financial product types
Willing to work on the nightshift
Opening is night shift. Shift may vary in-between 4pm to 6am.
