Product Control is the largest department in Finance, is primarily responsible for controlling daily profit and loss, balance sheet reporting and trading activity for the Institutional Clients Group. We work closely across functions on a daily basis (including the Trading desks, Risk Management, Operations, and other areas of Finance) and develop a deep understanding of the products traded, along with the associated market risks and accounting complexities.
As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks of this role are to provide department level support for Manila Product Control Team of 140 people.
Looking for a high very structured individual who can keep the team organized and boost its engagement.
Position is key to support our post pandemic return-to-office efforts.
Responsibilities:
Directly supports a C15 level manager and generally supports an entire department
Arranges conferences, meetings and events as required by the Unit; establishes priorities on behalf of manager or team
Prepare and review materials and correspondence for meetings
Participates in organization of employee engagement activities
Manages day to day calendar(s) of senior management; arranges meetings and secures meeting rooms
Handles incoming calls; responds to inquiries
Orders supplies and process invoices through Procure to Pay system
Process and follow-up on Virtual Requests
Maintains and update files/records, produces reports and various correspondence
Handles sensitive materials; maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality
Exploit a collaborative and motivating attitude to join forces with colleagues for excellent results
Benefit from your organized personality, attention to details and independent working style
Use your experience and knowledge to drive and contribute to outstanding team performance
Performs other duties and functions as assigned
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Previous office administration or other administrative/analyst experience preferably within a large and complex financial services or similar organization
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
