Your Role and Responsibilities
Identifies emerging health & safety issues at work and provides leadership in developing and implementing occupational health & safety strategies.
Assists in analyzing, evaluating, modifying and improving existing programs and procedures as well as assists with the development and implementation of new health, wellness & safety programs and tools, incorporating evidence-based standards for preventive health and medical practice
Makes recommendations related to medical and health policies and preventative measures for eliminating or minimizing industrial injuries and diseases
Provides advice and counsel to business unit leaders, HR partners, managers and employees on a variety of topics and questions related to medical program management, public health, pandemic protocols and health promotion aligned to the organization's policies and programs.
Oversees the operation of onsite clinics in the region to ensure compliance to regulatory and Kyndryl standards.
Recommends on the improvement and refinement of clinic processes to the CH&S management
Meet with stakeholders, including vendors to make communication easy and transparent regarding projects and decisions on services in a professional manner.
Performs medical case management in accordance to policies .
Reviews, analyzes and interprets health data and provides reports where required in a timely manner.
Participates in budgetary responsibilities and supports activities that impact costs and expense.
Participates as a member of the global CH&S team and works on special projects or leads team when required.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Graduate of a medical degree from a recognized university.
Registered physician with a valid license to practice the profession in the country.
Completed the required OHS course for OH physician from a DOLE-accredited institution or organization.
Minimum of 3 years medical/occupational health experience.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to be an independent problem-solver with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level work ethics and attitude.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in program management and implementation of at least 2 years
Knowledgeable on International Disease Classification Coding (ICD 9 or ICD 10)
Accredited OSH Practitioner of DOLE
Master's Degree in Occupational Health or Public Health
