Job Description Provide first level maintenance and 24/7 Surveillance of Fixed Core, Transport and Access Networks including relevant OSS, Backend Systems, Ancillary facilities and Environmental support systems necessary for the delivery of existing and future services using Network Management Systems and Operational Support tools within its respective coverage based on geographic area and/or type of network. Proactively monitor network and KPI threshold crossing alarms and endorse dispatch to appropriate resolving teams. Supply information for broadcast to communications management.
1. Proactive monitor and respond to alerts on the Access and Transport Network
​2. Perform first line maintenance, carry out escalation processes, and supply information for broadcast to communications management ​
3. Perform corrective actions and provide assistance in ticket management and reporting tasks ​
4. Perform regular checks on the network and manage system backups
