What this position is about - Purpose:
Microsoft Junior DevOps Engineer
JTI's Microsoft and Mobility Delivery Center is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the growing internal demand for corporate solutions based on the Microsoft ecosystem.
The successful candidate is a fast learner, results-driven professional, preferably with DevOps experience on Microsoft tools (Azure DevOps & GitHub), who will help us provide DevOps support to multiple agile teams and will contribute to the DevOps maturity improvement of our team.
You are expected to join a team of software developers, architects & DevOps engineers using the latest Microsoft technologies. You are to work closely with peers and collaborate with IT & business stakeholders.
What will you do?
Bring your unique contribution to one or more product workstreams, with a broad area of business domains, technical tasks, and cross team opportunities. Product workstreams deliver and maintain global enterprise solutions based on Microsoft technology stack.
Join our Software Development Platform team of software developers, engineers & architects. This team fosters collaboration, innovation, code reusability/quality/security and delivery automation by implementing modern development & DevOps practices, processes, and tools.

Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
Has at least 2 years of experience in the IT discipline or relevant experience as DevsOps Engineer
Good understanding of DevOps concepts and Microsoft DevOps tools (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub)
Good understanding of Azure Cloud & on-premises architectural concepts
Good understanding of Agile delivery lifecycle & ALM concepts
Continuous learner to join a team of learners
Strong team player mindset
Autonomous, self-organized and delivery focused
Fluent in speaking and written English
Technical certifications are considered an advantage.
Amenable to work in McKinley Taguig (Hybrid set up)
