JOB DESCRIPTION
Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies.
• Uses research findings and analysis to provide direction to marketing managers regarding upcoming marketing projects, new products or services, and overall strategy.
• Identifies areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, and promotional activities.
• Weighs in on important decisions involving product advertising, packaging, media channels, and branding.
• Maintains the department’s budget and ensures all marketing activities are cost-effective.
• Works with other company officers to establish budgets and marketing objectives.
• Monitor marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed.
• Adheres to and implements all company policies and procedures
• Facilitate R&D to develop fitting solutions to market requirements. Involves researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Develops promotion and advertising strategies.
• Contribute to the creative aspects of new product development, including innovation and growth strategy and plans (product, packaging, experience) to capture key opportunities and enable brand expansion.
• Owner and driver of seasonal concept development and strategic planning for all products across all classifications.
• Build meaningful partnerships that amplify and build on the power of our product or enhance the go-to-market process.
• Lead the company’s social and digital marketing presence and brand media planning/buying process.
• Drive decision-making with data and analytics. Track against targets, KPIs, and metrics of success (consumer and financial-driven).
• Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events.
• Create online and offline marketing content.
• Empower the sales team with marketing content and campaigns that help drive sales.
• Write content for website, social media posts, brochures, and other marketing-related communications.
• Create weekly reports, monthly reports, “end of the campaign” reports, and ad-hoc insights surrounding key initiatives and launch moments.
• Support daily promotion and marketing initiatives. Implement acquisition and retention marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
