Job Description
As a Marine Vetting and Assurance Manager at our company, you will be responsible to prepare, execute and manage terminal marine activities; and oversee safe and efficient cargo operations. This also Includes vessel acceptance by AMPOL and other locator and business-nominated-vessels
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Participate in pre-arrival correspondences with concerned parties
2. Update and train the team on international guidelines and regulations concerning tankers and terminals including physical properties and types of cargoes
3. Conduct periodical ship and jetty safety inspections
4. Conduct Emergency Shut Down Test between the terminal and the vessel.
5. Supervise the connection of the loading arms before loading/discharging and observe the pressure tests and report any leaks to the CCR and the vessel master.
6. Follow up on the Tanker loading/discharging to ensure a smooth, safe operation.
7. Communicate with the terminal CCR to start the loading/discharging operations set to the agreed cargo transfer rate.
8. Conduct periodical ship and jetty safety inspections.
9. Stop cargo operations when deemed unsafe to continue.
10. Hourly ship/shore quantity transfer checks.
11. Apply a structured approach to marine terminal management of the ship shore interface.
12. Implement procedures for the handling, loading and discharging of bulk liquids.
13. Update and train the team on international guidelines and regulations concerning tankers and terminals including physical properties and types of cargoes
14. Increase operational efficiency for oil storage and transport.
15. Become aware of Quality & Quantity risk & loss and learn prevention techniques.

:
Should have 5-10 years of relevant experience
Should be willing to travel and be relocated anywhere in the Philippines
Sound knowledge of ISM, SMS and ISO systems
Computer Literate (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet)
