Description
The successful candidate will be responsible in supporting an Australian law firm in the capacity as the Legal Support Specialist.
We are looking for candidates who will be responsible for providing legal administrative services encompassing but not limited to conveyancing services.
This is a great opportunity for an energetic and passionate individual who is proactive, agile and can deliver great outcomes to join our growing team. This role will see you supporting an Australian client by providing a high level of legal administration support.
Responsibilities
• Data entry taking information from contracts of sale of land and inputting that into conveyancing management system
• Assist in preparation of settlements
• Drafting of legal documents concerned with estate planning
• Drafting of contracts, review and amendments of contracts, liaising with banking institutions and other legal firms
• Attend, review & respond to emails in a timely manner
• Liaise with clients via email, MS Teams/Zoom/Skype, phone calls and other communication media
• Prepare various reports as required by the client
• Provide backup for other legal admin job functions as required
• Other related or ad hoc legal administrative tasks which may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
• Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year related work experience is needed for this position
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and emailing applications
• Demonstrable systems abilities and a high level of computer literacy including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and other desktop applications
• Internet savvy
Advantages
- Experience with conveyancing software such as Matter Centre, PEXA or other similar systems
- Experience working with Legal Management software like LEAP, etc. is a plus
- Experience working directly as Legal/Paralegal staff, particularly with law firms engage in real estate
- Experience working in an Australian or back office outsourcing service company is an advantage, but not required
General Qualifications
• A graduate of Office Administration, Business Management or any related degree
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
• Good communication and internal and external customer service skills
• Must be process driven and have meticulous attention to detail
• Very good verbal, numerical and clerical abilities
• Must possess combined data entry and analytical skills
• Have the ability to ask questions or any information that may be missing or not understood
• Can work with minimal supervision or autonomously
• High level of integrity and strong work ethic
• Trustworthy, honest and discreet
• Candidates must have the willingness to learn and ability to quickly adapt to changes
• Can work with a team
• Can work under pressure and meet deadline expectations of the client and management team.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and highly organized
• Ability to learn new systems and online tools
• Highly motivated and keen to learn new techniques and skills
• Comfortable working within a BPO environment with Australian clients.
• Willing to work or be relocated in Clark, Pampanga
