Job Purpose
•Accountable for the collection of tax-related information, reporting to tax authorities (BIR & LGU) in a timely manner and advising management on the tax impact of various corporate strategies.
• Handles annual Financial and Tax Audit and prepares statutory FS drafts.
•Checks all tax returns and reports and ensure timely filing and remittance.
•Coordinates audit by tax authorities or tax compliance auditors.
•Creates and maintains documentation and procedure guidelines on tax and accounting
•Performs tax compliance review on a regular basis and communicate results including relevant recommendation.
•Devises tax strategies to defer or eliminate tax payments and/or identify tax savings in prospective business projects.
•Prepares and updates tax provision schedules.
Job Requirements
•Bachelor of Science in Accounting. CPA with tax experience is a must
•Must have at least 5 years experience in tax and accounting in a supervisorial/managerial capacity
•Preferably with strong understanding of business tax and accounting
